| Victorian Country Inn, B&B LLC Celebrates 5th year Anniversary |
Initially we opened in February 2010 with 3 suites. Starlite Theater with Secret Passage, Garden Spa Suite and Sarsparilla Suite.
Extended Stays were requested next and the cozy cabin was added with many long term guests that we befriended but still allowed independence. We still correspond with our MU Vet Extern Student.
Retreats revealed need for more meeting space and thus the white event was built.
This accommodated Private and Guest Birthday Parties, Club Luncheons, Wedding Showers, Baby Showers, Rehearsal Dinners and Spa Venue.
Wedding Venue was a natural transition. A beautiful Gazebo, boardwalk, amphitheater and deck was built. You build it and they will come came to mind.
Honeymooners and B&B guests were thrilled when we hired On Call Certified Massage Therapist and Reflexologist. Our most popular package is Private Couple Massage by Twilight in the White Room.

Dinner Theater was created with the help of my wonderful staff. A special thanks to Alyssa Anderson a graduate of MU Business School and Marketing.
She was a great ghost writer and event coordinator but has since gone to work as office manager of Veterans Home Loans in Columbia, MO. She still does my website but now I am the ghost writer for our fictious historical murder mysteries. We have a wonderful chef Pat with her Grilled Chicken in Wine Sauce and my Bourbon Glazed Pork Tenderloins and Quiches.
This is our third year with 2 surprise engagements where the butler tried to steal the engagement on the first one and the last on April 1st was not April Fool's Joke but a wonderful surprise and indeed she said yes.

What sets us apart besides the gourmet meal and interactive objectives is that we provide costumes and accessories for our guests. What a Blast to see them in the our most popular era costumes, Roaring 20's with flapper dresses and zoot suits with fedora hats. They definately getting into character sooner.
Incidently we were acknowledged in a new book, Murder at Red Rock Canyon by Sherri DeWille. It is like a Nancy Drew Series and very high profile murder mystery. With all this said don't think we are encouraging violence and murder but hopefully our guests come to the conclusion that the bad guy gets cuffed & ends up behind bars, You commit the crime you do the time.
Birthday Parties for all ages and Family Reunions are very popular either with Dinner Theater or Clue Scavenger Hunt or Tea Luncheons. We have had many mayors and other VIP here including previous mayor and wife of Columbia, Hallsville Mayor and Brookfield Mayor for Tea and Photo Shoots.

This past year we had the honor of providing the movie set for Patrick Stark Production of Marshal Law 3 and look forward to going to its red carpet debut.

Other popular theme parties are our authenic chuckwagon wild west show every fall and by private booking for large groups. Thanks to Wade and Angel Moncton for their demonstration on dutch oven cooking. Delish.
I have incorporated several of the recipes in our breakfast menu along with Amish pastries or healthy quiches and fresh fruit parfaits. We recently received a Certificate from Missouri Agri Tourism.
